William "BJ" Wright is a passionate miniature painter. Though new to Soonercon, he's already made his mark with a few noteworthy achievements. For three consecutive years, he's proudly clinched the top spot in Tulsa Warhammer's Armies on Parade, Age of Sigmar Category. In 2023 he was honored with the prestigious Best in Show award at the same event. Securing a Silver Medalist title at ReaperCon in the Painter's and Diorama Categories was another defining milestone in his miniature-painting odyssey. His journey began in 2017, though his creative roots trace back to childhood weekends in his family's ceramics shop. From his teacher father, he inherited not just a creative inclination but a drive to inspire and educate. BJ aspires to nurture a space where creativity flourishes and enthusiasts thrive. He believes that "The ultimate expression of failure is not trying due to the fear of failure."
