Brittanie Peake

Brittanie Peake has been an avid reader, manga/anime fan, and animal lover most of her life. A fan of murder mysteries, fantasy novels, Naruto, and fanfiction, there is rarely a genre she will not dip her toes in. This year she started the magical Sarah J. Maas journey, changing her literary life forever. Brittanie is also a long-time Star Wars fan. As a member of the Rebel Legion, she often dons the cinnamon buns as Princess Leia throughout the year at various events with her husband, "the Professional Stormtrooper.” In her professional life, she works as a scientist for an environmental toxicology research lab and is set to graduate with her Master of Science at the end of the year. In the little free time she has, she and her husband volunteer at Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue in Stillwater, OK, where all five of their cats – Yuri, Felicette, Gordo, Kessel, and Biggs – were adopted from.

Ladies of the Legion

Learn about trooping as a woman in the traditionally male dominated Star Wars fandom with Ladies of the Legion. This panel will share their perspectives about being in the 501st, Rebel Legion, and Mando Mercs. They will also share advice about selecting and building costumes of both female and male characters and adapting and shaping them to the feminine physique.
