Courtney Thornton

Courtney Thornton is a cosplayer from Tulsa, OK.  She has been cosplaying for over 10 years, beginning her journey in 2013 with Insurgency Harley Quinn from the video game Injustice.  She fell in love with cosplaying and going to conventions after her first con, Green Country ComicCon in Tulsa.  She now uses her love for pop culture and cosplay to give back to the community.  Courtney joined the Rebel Legion in 2019, with her first screen-accurate Star Wars costume, Ewok Village Princess Leia.  She has become a member of the 501st Legion and the Mandalorian Mercs as well. She serves on the command team for all three clubs and the application team for Rebel Legion and Mando Mercs.  Her favorite characters to cosplay are Ahsoka Tano and Harley Quinn.

Ladies of the Legion

Learn about trooping as a woman in the traditionally male dominated Star Wars fandom with Ladies of the Legion. This panel will share their perspectives about being in the 501st, Rebel Legion, and Mando Mercs. They will also share advice about selecting and building costumes of both female and male characters and adapting and shaping them to the feminine physique.
